Our reliable vehicle shipping service is the best choice you can make.  If you are moving, relocating, or just need to ship a car to Hawaii, you can count on our dependable agents to assist you. We ship vehicles from Florida to Hawaii and from Hawaii to Florida on a daily basis.

To ship your vehicle from Florida to Hawaii, we need a 3-5 day window to pick up the vehicle, and 10-14 days to deliver the vehicle to the port in Long Beach, California.  Once loaded onto the vessel, the ocean time is approximately five days on the water. We offer open or enclosed auto carrier service to the port. We offer port-to-port, door-to-port, and RORO service. All vehicles and freight are offloaded at the Port of Honolulu first.  All freight and vehicles going to neighboring islands will be barged over, taking an additional 5-7 days.

The preferred method of vehicle shipment is either in the vessel garage or in specialized auto frames. Containers are not generally loaded with automobiles. However, at the discretion of our terminal operations, occasionally vehicles are loaded into closed containers.

If you want to guarantee your own container you must order one. The cost of a 20' or 40' container is determined by miles from the vehicle location and back to the port.  We have bi-weekly departures out of Oakland, CA and Seattle, WA, and weekly departures out of Long Beach, CA.  Prepare Your Vehicle
 Need a complete set of keys:  Ignition, doors, trunk, etc. Vehicle must be in running condition, with working brakes. 
 All vehicles must be licensed or qualified to  be licensed for public street and highways.

 

 Wash Vehicle
 All vehicles must have a clean exterior for inspection. Dirty vehicles will not be accepted.

 No Damaged Vehicles
 We cannot accept damaged vehicles or  vehicles with cracked or broken glass
 

 Remove All Personal Belongings
 The only items accepted are those  normally attached to the vehicle or permanently installed in the dash, doors, rear deck, or console.

 

 If not bolted in, the following items need to be removed
 Loose Radios, or CBs
 Radar Detectors
 CD or MP3 Players/iPod
 Tape Player and Tapes
 Portable Telephones
 Non-Standard Stereo Equipment
 (Speakers, Amplifiers, etc.)
 Decorative ornaments, auto covers &
 bras, truck tailgate nets, auto racks, and
 theft alarms systems.

 

Gas and Antifreeze

 ¼ tank of gas or less
 Antifreeze during the winter months

 Fire Extinguishers and Propane Tanks
 Fire Extinguishers must be removed.
 Road Flares must be removed.
 Vehicles with Propane tank must be empty.
 of all liquid, Empty tank needs to be
 tagged and certified as gas free.

 

Hawaii Current Vehicle Shipping Laws

 Needs proof of ownership, current  title, and current registration, notarized letter of authorization from any non- present party listed on the title (Lien holder, or spouse, etc.)

If registered owner is in active military, and is out of the state, Notarized letter requirement is waived.
Must register your vehicle within 30 days after arrival in Hawaii.
Effective 8/8/2007 an invasive species is imposed by the state of Hawaii on all shipments at a rate of .50 per 1000 lbs.
