Transport Hawaii has been providing long distance auto shipping from Idaho to Hawaii and from Hawaii to Idaho for over twelve years.   We have several car carriers in the Idaho area to provide fast weekly auto shipping to the Port of Seattle or Long Beach.  We are licensed, and bonded.

We offer either open or enclosed car transport to the ports. We need a 3-5 day window for pickup.  There are two ports available to deliver your vehicle to: the Port of Seattle, and the Port of Long Beach, CA.  Please note that the containers in Seattle are smaller than the ones in Long Beach.  Please see our home page for details. Once loaded on the car carrier, delivery time to either the Port of Seattle or the Port of Long Beach is approximately 3-5 days. Once loaded on the vessel, the shipping time to Hawaii is approximately five days on the water.  All vehicles arrive at the Port of Honolulu first.  All vehicles going to neighboring islands will be barged over, taking an additional 5-7 days on the water.  Customer service will call you when your vehicle is ready for pick-up.

The preferred method of vehicle shipment is either in the vessel garage or in specialized auto frames. Containers are not generally loaded with automobiles.  However, at the discretion of the terminal operations, occasionally vehicles are loaded into closed containers.

If you want to guarantee your own container you must order one. The cost of a 20' or 40' container is determined by miles from the vehicle location and back to the port.  We have bi-weekly departures out of Oakland, CA and Seattle, WA, and weekly departures out of Long Beach, CA.
